Question 1

What PSIRF and patient safety training does Promethean HD provide?

Accepted Answer

Promethean HD provides training across human factors, PSIRF fundamentals, systems-based responses, investigation, oversight, compassionate engagement and the design and implementation of safety actions. Programmes range from introductory learning to advanced development for practitioners and leaders. Bespoke provision can also be designed around an organisation’s services, governance arrangements, existing capability and improvement priorities.

Question 2

Who is the training designed for?

Accepted Answer

Training is available for clinical and non-clinical staff involved in patient safety, learning and improvement. Relevant audiences include patient safety teams, investigators, governance and risk professionals, quality-improvement teams, clinical and operational leaders, service managers, board members and people with oversight responsibilities. Different programmes are available for those requiring an introduction, those leading learning responses and experienced practitioners seeking deeper capability

Question 3

Can training be tailored to our organisation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Training can be adapted to your services, local context, governance arrangements, existing experience and improvement priorities. This makes it possible to use relevant examples, address local questions and connect learning with the systems and processes participants use in practice. Promethean HD also provides preparatory materials and opportunities for engagement around delivery, with practical tools and resources supplied to support application after the session.

Question 4

Is training available online and in person?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Promethean HD offers live online and face-to-face delivery. The most appropriate format can be agreed according to the programme, group, learning objectives and organisational requirements. Scheduled virtual workshops are available for individuals on selected subjects, while organisations can commission dedicated sessions for their teams.

Question 5

Do participants receive certificates, course materials or follow-up support?

Accepted Answer

Arrangements vary by programme and should be checked on the relevant course page. For example, the PSIRF Fundamentals course includes a certificate of completion, practical resources and an offered 30-minute post-session support call. The course is described as equivalent to six CPD points. Bespoke programmes can include supporting materials and follow-up arrangements agreed as part of the scope.

Question 6

Can individuals book training, or is it only available to organisations?

Accepted Answer

Both options are available. Individuals can book places on scheduled virtual workshops where these are offered. Organisations can commission dedicated courses, masterclasses or bespoke programmes for their teams. If you are unsure which option best fits your role or development needs, contact Promethean HD with your area of interest and preferred delivery format.
